I am Woman!

A beautiful autumn day (all be it a slightly muggy Brisbane autumn) as the sun set over the city skyline, 180 of Brisbane's most inspirational women gathered on the front lawn of beautiful Hanworth House with Bellinis to celebrate the achievements of women everywhere and pay respects to those who couldn't be there.

For the third year in a row (I think, maybe four I've lost count), Carly Brown the founder of Une Piece hosted along side 22 other female founders (check them out below), including yours truly and the chatelaine. The night was a great success raising money for the Butterfly Foundation and Call Time on Melanoma.

As the sun was well and truly gone and my dream home was alight with the fairy lights from the happy tree. Everyone in attendance enjoyed beautiful drinks by Winston Quinn Gin bar, with goosebumps as Dimity Shepherd performed songs from her upcoming performance with Opera Queensland 'Lorelei' and old favourites from 'Carmen' and some tears shed as a dear friend paid a beautiful tribute to Hannah Clark, a strong woman and entrepreneur who was taken.

The rest of the night was spent catching up with old friends and making new ones.
